SERENDIPITY – MYSTICAL CONCEPT

Als Gestaltungstechnischer Assistent war ich ab 2000 im Bereich Medien- und 3D-Design in Köln tätig. Ab 2012 unterstützte ich den Kunstbuchverlag TASCHEN als Technical Supporter. 2023 begann die Arbeit an CABINET ART.

Mit einem retrospektiven Portfolio ließ ich von computerisierter Kreation und Präzision ab und erlaubte mir das experimentell Händische, in das die digitalen Passionen nur noch synergetisch einflossen. Meine heutigen Arbeiten behandeln die Manifestation des Virtuellen, und auch die Virtualisierung des Realen.

Flow, Fokus und Erfüllung finde ich allein im Schaffensprozess als Objektemacher. Dabei ist das Objekt nicht Ziel, sondern Resultat meiner Hingabe an das Harmoniepotenzial aller Dinge und Ereignisse: Ich lasse leicht zu übersehenden, vermeintlich zufälligen Verbindungen Zeit und Raum ... und die Formen entstehen.

Das Ungeplante, Ungezwungene, Unbeherrschte ermöglicht den menschenmöglichst reinen Blick auf die Quelle aller Ideen.

As a design technical assistant, I worked in media and 3D design in Cologne starting in 2000. From 2012 onward, I supported the art book publisher TASCHEN as a technical support specialist. In 2023, I began working on CABINET ART.

With a retrospective portfolio, I moved away from computerized creation and precision, allowing myself to explore experimental, hands-on work, into which my digital passions now flow only in a synergistic way. My current works address the manifestation of the virtual, as well as the virtualization of the real.

I find flow, focus, and fulfillment solely in the process of creation as a maker of objects. The object itself is not the goal, but the result of my devotion to the harmonic potential of all things and events: I give time and space to connections that are easily overlooked, seemingly coincidental ... and forms emerge.

The unplanned, the unforced, the uncontrolled make possible the most purely human glimpse of the source of all ideas.
